Cosmetic Surgery

Cosmetic Procedures

Cosmetic (aesthetic) plastic surgery (+ nonsurgical procedures) are performed to reshape, refine, or resurface normal structures of the body in order to improve appearance and self-esteem. I provide a cosmetic practice that encompasses many different plastic surgery techniques that are individualised for natural, balanced results.

These procedures are commonly performed, and are quite remarkable in the way they are able to transform a patients’ quality of life for the better.  Abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) tightens the abdominal wall and removes excess skin and fat. Brachioplasty (arm reduction) addresses excess skin and fat in the arms.  Thigh reduction reduces excess skin and fat in the thighs.  Liposuction may be used in isolation or in combination with any of the above procedures.  For some patients a Belt lipectomy (or Total Body Lift) may be the most appropriate way to deal with excess skin after massive weight loss.  Mr Rawlins welcomes many patients who have undergone ‘bariatric surgery,’ and understands the added complexity in these cases.
